I never get tired of reading bipolar 2 is less severe and may only be “troublesome”. Really wanting to Z Whack the geniuses who put together the DSM. Because I am thinking few of us who have handled a depression would consider it less severe and merely “troublesome”. Mania is actually fun, not hard to ride out. Depression is never fun thus VERY SEVERE.

Ikr! I just found out recently I have type 1 (I always assumed I had 1, Dr B said 1 . Had been in mixed episode during a OV 4 weeks ago, he added vraylar. I see him Monday.I’m lucky to have a good Dr.

I like my doc. But the insurance company covering my meds…I’d like to stab them with ricin laced pegacorn horn cos they won’t cover the ONE medicine that works for my ADD.

I wonder if I’m more NOS or even mixed because my “episodes” have been all over the fucking place? Switching providers ever 6 months does not help
